Basketball Game Preview: Yulee Hornets vs. Bolles Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Yulee Hornets will take on the Bolles Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Yulee is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Fletcher on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Hornets were outmatched by the Senators and fell 80-48. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-19.

Despite their loss, Yulee saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ben Newby, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Valdez, who posted eight points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Bolles suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2024 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 76-44 loss at the hands of Providence School. The Bulldogs were down 58-37 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Yulee's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bolles, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
