Baseball Game Preview: Innovation Bulls vs. Jones Fightin' Tigers

The Innovation Bulls will take on the Jones Fightin' Tigers in a tournament on Friday. Jones took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Innovation, who comes in off a win.

Innovation proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Colonial 3-1.

Nyran Jeter tossed a big game, tossing 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, Tyler Nunez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Tyler Embry, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Jones was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Lake Buena Vista, falling 12-2.

Jones saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenovin Saintfleur, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Innovation's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Jones, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
