Bay Port dropped their record down to 13-8 on Friday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Ashwaubenon Jaguars by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Keagan Wheeler was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
