Basketball Recap: Kaden Lark's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lebanon over Christel House

On Friday, the Lebanon Tigers came up short against the Christel House Eagles and fell 67-56.

Lebanon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaden Lark, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 20 points. What's more, he also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024. Bryce Nelson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Christel House got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Matios Russ out in front who went 8-for-11 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. Russ is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Josiah Jackson, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 16 points and five boards.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Christel House, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.

Lebanon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-51 win against Hamilton Heights on the 15th. As for Christel House, they will welcome Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Christel House's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games.
