Volleyball Recap: Gar-Field Comes Up Short

Gar-Field was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Forest Park Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-17, 25-11.

Forest Park's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Camille Parry led the charge by getting 20 assists and six aces. That's the most assists Parry has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Carter, who had six aces.

Gar-Field's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Forest Park, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

While Gar-Field had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
