Basketball Game Preview: Randolph-Henry Statesmen vs. William Campbell Generals

The Randolph-Henry Statesmen and the William Campbell Generals will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Randolph-Henry was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to Prince Edward County.

Meanwhile, William Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 78-56 to Nelson County.

William Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Randolph-Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Randolph-Henry didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against William Campbell in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 50-44 win. Will Randolph-Henry repeat their success, or does William Campbell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
