Baseball Recap: Dallas Christian Takes a Loss

Dallas Christian and Pantego Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Dallas Christian had to settle for second. They fell 9-4 to the Panthers. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2017.

Matthew Martin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Dallas Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Pantego Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Dallas Christian nor Pantego Christian have any future games scheduled.
