Basketball Recap: Sunnyvale Comes Up Short

Sunnyvale was the 61-58 winner over Kaufman when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders took a 44-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Saturday. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sunnyvale now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Kaufman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Sunnyvale will challenge Canton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Kaufman, they will face off against North Forney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
