Baseball Recap: Innovation Gets the Win

Innovation proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 15) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Colonial Grenadiers, sneaking past 3-1.

Nyran Jeter tossed a big game, tossing 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, Tyler Nunez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Embry, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Innovation's record now sits at 3-1. As for Colonial, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
