Basketball Game Preview: Oak Hill Oaks vs. South Webster Jeeps

The Oak Hill Oaks will challenge the South Webster Jeeps at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Webster took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Oak Hill, who comes in off a win.

Oak Hill is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past East 53-32 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Oaks.

Oak Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Charissa Krannitz led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. With that strong performance, Krannitz is now averaging an impressive 8.6 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Whitt, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, South Webster came up short against Notre Dame on Wednesday and fell 45-34. The Jeeps haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

South Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Oak Hill, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Oak Hill took a serious blow against South Webster in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 57-17. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Oak Hill was down 35-2.
