Recap: Sultana Sultans vs. Oak Hills Bulldogs
After flying high against the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights last Saturday, the Sultana Sultans came back down to earth. Sultana had to suffer through a rough 80-41 loss at the hands of Oak Hills. Sultana has not had much luck with Oak Hills recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Sultana lost on Wednesday, one person who can't be blamed is Sergio Moreno. Despite the final result, he scored six points.
Sultana's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Oak Hills, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sultana will take on Serrano at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oak Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Burroughs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Burroughs will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 719th, while Oak Hills is ranked 237th).
