Volleyball Recap: Nokomis Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

With a playoff win on the line, Nokomis rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Nokomis easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15.

Addison Glenn paced Nokomis' offense, picking up 17 kills. Glenn got some help from Kinley Stolte and her 28 assists.

Nokomis' victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 33-2. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 14-19.

Coming up, Nokomis will be playing in front of their home fans against Carlyle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christ Our Rock Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
