Baseball Game Preview: Farina South Central Cougars vs. Flora Wolves

The Farina South Central Cougars will face off against the Flora Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Farina South Central is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against North Clay/Clay City on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Clay/Clay City.

Farina South Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Smith, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Flora won against Fairfield on Tuesday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wolves won by a run and slipped past the Mules 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Farina South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Flora, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
