Volleyball Recap: Dyett Comes Up Short at Home Against Horizon Science Academy-Southwest

Dyett unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

While Dyett had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19.

The win was the third in a row for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Dyett is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Goode STEM Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, they will square off against Julian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
