Basketball Game Preview: Minden Whippets vs. Ogallala Indians + How To Watch

The Minden Whippets are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Ogallala Indians at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Minden is headed out to face Ogallala after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Whippets came out on top against Southern Valley by a score of 51-38 on Thursday.

Myla Emery was nothing short of spectacular: she went 8-for-19 on her way to 22 points and six steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Ruby Rhynalds, who had ten points and six boards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Ogallala against Mullen on Friday as the squad secured a 67-18 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Indians just coasted through the last quarter.

Minden didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Ogallala in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory. Will the Whippets repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
