Last Friday, everything came up roses for Walnut Springs at home against Bluff Dale as the squad secured a 74-26 win. The win was just what Walnut Springs needed coming off of a 53-8 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Oglesby put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They didn't even let Buckholts onto the board and left with a 62-0 win. The result was nothing new for Oglesby, who have now won eight games by 37 points or more so far this season.
Walnut Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Oglesby, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Walnut Springs took a serious blow against Oglesby when the teams last played back in September, falling 46-0. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Oglesby's Kyler Fossett, who rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries.
