Basketball Recap: Adelanto's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Granite Hills last Wednesday, Adelanto came back down to earth. The Adelanto Saints came up short against the Silverado Hawks on Friday, falling 56-32. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 56-55.

Adelanto's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-6. As for Silverado, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Adelanto and Silverado should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Adelanto will take on Victor Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday up 520 places (242 vs. 762). Adelanto will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Silverado (ranked 413th) will meet Barstow (ranked 845th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
