Volleyball Recap: The Meadows School Has No Trouble Against Pahrump Valley

The Meadows School had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Pahrump Valley on Wednesday. The Mustangs blew past the Trojans 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The Meadows School walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 25-19.

The Meadows School found their leader in sophomore Adyson Watkins, who had 13 digs and one assist.

The Meadows School was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in five consecutive contests.

Pahrump Valley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sedona Norton, who had 13 digs.

The Meadows School's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Pahrump Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-14.

Coincidentally, The Meadows School and Pahrump Valley will both be playing Boulder City the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
