Round Rock proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 24) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Vista Ridge Rangers 53-51. The 53-point effort marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory was the third in a row for Round Rock, bringing their record up to 7-1. As for Vista Ridge, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 6-3.

Coming up, Round Rock is taking a road trip to take on Royse City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Vista Ridge, they will be taking part in a tournament against Brenham at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday. The Cubs have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
