It was a good run, but Moorhead unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 77-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Horace.

Moorhead's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Horace, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moorhead will finish 2024 at home by hosting Fargo North at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Horace, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sheyenne at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Horace knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Sheyenne likes a good challenge.
