Clark hadn't done well against Spring Valley recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Grizzlies 4-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

James Hatfield spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Clark's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryland Gregorich, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
