Baseball Recap: Seminole County Indians vs. Miller County Pirates
Seminole County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Miller County Pirates, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 last Thursday.
Seminole County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Jarvis, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Seminole County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Miller County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.
Seminole County and Miller County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Indians will square off against Mitchell County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (158 vs. 478). Meanwhile, Miller County (ranked 153rd) will meet Randolph-Clay (ranked 415th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
