Volleyball Recap: Wheelersburg Beats Valley for Their Ninth Straight Win

Wheelersburg waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Valley Indians 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Wheelersburg never let Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 26-24.

Wheelersburg was led to victory by Mylee Gleim and Mati Jennings. Gleim had 16 digs, while Jennings had ten digs.

Wheelersburg's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Valley, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 16-5.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Wheelersburg and Rock Hill will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
