Souhegan is a perfect 5-0 against Winnisquam since September of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Sabers will face off against the Bears at 5:45 p.m.

Souhegan is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Milford, who was ranked eighth at the time (Souhegan was ranked 16th). The Sabers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Sabers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Winnisquam entered their tilt with Kennett on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles.

Winnisquam now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Souhegan, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Souhegan came out on top in a nail-biter against Winnisquam in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sabers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
