Soccer Recap: Ballantyne Ridge Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ballantyne Ridge can now relate to. They fell just short of the Grimsley Whirlies by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Ballantyne Ridge couldn't quite close it out.

Gabriel Zeballos and Dominik Danko scored all three of Ballantyne Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 36 goals.

Ballantyne Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 12-8-3. As for Grimsley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season.
