Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Plainfield South hadn't done well against Romeoville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. The Cougars were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Spartans, so the Cougars were just returning the favor.

Plainfield South easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19.

Plainfield South's victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-17. As for Romeoville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-26.
