Basketball Recap: Lely Wins Going Away Against Labelle + How To Watch

The Lely Trojans didn't have too much trouble with the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls on Wednesday as they won 66-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

LaBelle's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jerrahd Williams, who shot 44% from the field en route to 22 points, and Clifford Love, who posted 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Arrie Davis Jr., who earned six points and eight boards.

Lely has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for LaBelle, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Lely will face off against Southwest Florida Christian at 11:30 p.m. on Monday. As for LaBelle, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-43 victory against Okeechobee on the 21st.
