Football Game Preview: Bells Panthers vs. S & S Consolidated Rams + How To Watch

Bells is a perfect 3-0 against S & S Consolidated since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will take on the Rams at 7:30 p.m. Bells will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bells duked it out with Blue Ridge on Friday. The Panthers took down the Tigers 45-28.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jaxon Brown and Easton Branam. Brown rushed for 201 yards and two TDs while Branam rushed for 124 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries. That's the most rushing yards Branam has posted since back in November of 2024.

Bells was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 376 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 176 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Bells' defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. In that department, Caden King was the leader with two sacks.

Meanwhile, S & S Consolidated was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against Leonard, falling 56-27. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Bells will have to contain Hunter Courville as he made an impact in S & S Consolidated's last game. He rushed for 171 yards and one score on only 15 carries, and also threw for 153 yards and a pair of TDs. Courville has become a key player for S & S Consolidated: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jayden Vega, who rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

Bells' win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for S & S Consolidated, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Bells against S & S Consolidated when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 51-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
