The Alex Longhorns will square off against the Weleetka Outlaws at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Alex is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 56-8 win over Thackerville. The victory was some much needed relief for the Longhorns as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Weleetka was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Wetumka 50-8. The result was nothing new for the Outlaws, who have now won eight games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Alex better keep an eye on Isaiah Drake. He was instrumental in Weleetka's win, rushing for 132 yards and three scores on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 308 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt. Drake's longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Bryant Sites was another key player, gaining 196 total yards and three touchdowns.

Alex was dealt a bruising 54-0 defeat at the hands of Weleetka in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Longhorns, Isaac Drake (who rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 48 yards and one TD) won't be suiting up this time.
