Basketball Recap: Tristan Wiley Key Part of a Team Effort in Knights Win

Shadow Hills's tournament run continued when they took on Riverside Prep on Thursday. The Shadow Hills Knights walked away with a 47-34 win over the Riverside Prep Silver Knights. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Silver Knights are ranked 1014th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shadow Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tristan Wiley, who posted 14 points. Wiley is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Williams, who had 11 points.

Shadow Hills now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Riverside Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Shadow Hills and Alta Loma will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Shadow Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season. As for Riverside Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Redlands East Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
