Basketball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern lost against Waynedale back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northwestern Huskies were outmatched by the Waynedale Golden Bears and fell 79-42. The Huskies' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Waynedale, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwestern will head out to challenge Rittman at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwestern is facing Rittman at the right time seeing as Rittman is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Waynedale has already played their next matchup (against Hillsdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
