Volleyball Recap: Great Bend Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Great Bend lost against Kapaun Mt. Carmel back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1.

Great Bend started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-18, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Great Bend lost, don't look at Ava Kaiser. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs.

Great Bend's defeat ended an 11-match streak of away wins and brought them to 28-11. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Great Bend nor Kapaun Mt. Carmel have any future games scheduled.
