Volleyball Recap: Tidewater Academy Comes Up Short

Tidewater Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Tidewater Academy still got an impressive performance from Peyton Johnson, who had six aces and four digs.

Tidewater Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Tidewater Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Banner Christian on the 16th. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Kenston Forest on the 16th.
