Volleyball Game Preview: Neshoba Central Rockets vs. West Lauderdale Knights

The Neshoba Central Rockets will challenge the West Lauderdale Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neshoba Central will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Neshoba Central was able to grind out a solid win over Warren Central, taking the game 3-1.

Neshoba Central walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 19-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Lauderdale, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Pearl on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

West Lauderdale's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pearl to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-11.

The victory got West Lauderdale back to even at 15-15-1. As for Neshoba Central, their win bumped their record up to 27-5-1.

Neshoba Central was able to grind out a solid victory over West Lauderdale in their previous matchup last Monday, winning 3-1. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
