After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pike County Central, Phelps was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against Magoffin County by a score of 70-59. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-56 back in February.

Phelps is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season. Magoffin County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-23 record this season.

Phelps will face off against Martin County at 7:00 p.m. on March 8th. Martin County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matches -- so hopefully Phelps likes a good challenge. Magoffin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
