Recap: Hoehne Farmers vs. Swallows Charter Academy Spartans
The Hoehne Farmers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 28 points or more this season. They took their match on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 69-7 victory over Swallows Charter Academy. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-0.
It was another big night for Janae Ramos, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Janelle Ramos, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Hoehne and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Swallows Charter Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Hoehne and Swink will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Swallows Charter Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pueblo Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
