Baseball Recap: Chicago Hope Academy vs. Hoffman Estates Hawks
Chicago Hope Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Hoffman Estates Hawks with a sharp 11-1 win. This was payback for Chicago Hope Academy, who suffered a 6-5 loss the last time these two teams met.
Davian Villalobos was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
