Homer won the last time they faced Grace Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mariners walked away with a 2-0 win over the Grizzlies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mariners.

Homer found their leader in sophomore Piper Fuchs, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Homer's victory bumped their record up to 23-15-3. As for Grace Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-22-2 record this season.

Homer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Kenai Central on the 25th. As for Grace Christian, they will square off against Palmer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
