Basketball Recap: North Polk Comes Up Short

After flying high against Atlantic on Monday, North Polk came back down to earth. The Comets took a 64-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pella Dutch on Tuesday. The Comets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dutch from their previous meeting back in February.

North Polk's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, North Polk will take on A-D-M at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Comets their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Pella, they have already played their next game, a 79-72 win against Grand View Christian on the 4th.
