Baseball Recap: Heritage Preparatory Comes Up Short

Heritage Preparatory fell victim to Piedmont Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Heritage Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Piedmont Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Heritage Preparatory will be playing in front of their home fans against Harvester Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Piedmont Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Mount de Sales Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.77 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
