Softball Recap: Stamford Wins Going Away Against Mcmahon

Stamford extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 3-1 in the process. They blew past the McMahon Senators 20-3. The matchup marked the Black Knights' most dominant win of the season so far.

As for McMahon, they now have a losing record of 2-3. They haven't had much luck with Stamford recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

For McMahon's part, Alexa Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Sami Horton, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stamford will challenge Harding at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for McMahon, they will host Staples at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
