Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Noelle Hagan and Steffi Chilton Lead Foundation Christian Academy to Victory

Foundation Christian Academy lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Universal Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of 4's contest. Everything went the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers' way against the Universal Academy Falcons on Thursday as the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers made off with a 39-19 win. That 20 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Foundation Christian Academy was led to victory by Steffi Chilton and Noelle Hagan. Chilton posted 18 points, while Hagan scored ten points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Chilton has scored at least a third of Foundation Christian Academy's points.

The victory snapped Foundation Christian Academy's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-15 record. As for Universal Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

When Foundation Christian Academy and Universal Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Foundation Christian Academy will face off against Canterbury and their five-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Universal Academy will try to stop Cambridge Christian's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th.
