Bella Vista's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ellie Thome, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Paige Hackman who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three steals. That was a full 67.6% of Bella Vista's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Bella Vista has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Woodcreek, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bella Vista will take on Inderkum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Inderkum will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. As for Woodcreek, they will head out on the road to challenge River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. River Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 604th, while Woodcreek is ranked 229th).
