It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but John Jay had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the West Genesee Wildcats. The victory was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won five matches in a row.

Peyton Kellam paced John Jay's offense, picking up 16 kills. Kellam got some help from Margaret Bojarczuk and her 29 assists. Bella Cabrera controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

John Jay's win bumped their record up to 29-6-3. As for West Genesee, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 4-3-1.

As of now, neither John Jay nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
