The McCluer Comets will challenge the Hazelwood West Wildcats at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

McCluer took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Hazelwood East, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Comets won by a goal and slipped past the Spartans 2-1. That's two games straight that McCluer have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Hazelwood West entered their tilt with Jennings on Monday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Warriors 10-2. Considering Hazelwood West have won six matches by more than five goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Hazelwood West's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for McCluer, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
