Baseball Recap: Talawanda Wins Going Away Against Middletown

Talawanda not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23, 2024. Everything went their way against the Middletown Middies as Talawanda made off with a 10-1 win. The Brave haven't had any issues with the Middies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Micah Daniels looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Eddie Tanner, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kyle Jones, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

The win got Talawanda back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Talawanda will challenge Bishop Fenwick at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Middletown, they will head out to face off against Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
