Volleyball Recap: Lanier Comes Up Short

Lanier suffered their biggest defeat since October 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Seguin Matadors. The Voks were not able to make up for their loss to the Matadors from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-13.

Lanier's defeat dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Seguin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lanier is set to challenge their familiar foe Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Seguin will face off against rival Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
