Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayne). They were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Buffalo Bison on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Pioneers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Logan Prater was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brady Dyer, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Wayne always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Wayne's record is now 2-6. As for Buffalo, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-6.

The Pioneers are facing the Pointers at the right time seeing as the Pointers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Buffalo, they will head out to take on Scott at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
