Basketball Recap: Tallwood Comes Up Short

Tallwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 37th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Green Run Stallions and fell 74-13. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Stallions are ranked 91st).

Tallwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Green Run, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Tallwood has already played their next game, a 59-13 loss against Ocean Lakes on the 28th. As for Green Run, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 79-33 defeat against Princess Anne on the 28th.
