Baseball Game Preview: Pickering Red Devils vs. DeQuincy Tigers

Pickering hasn't had much luck against DeQuincy recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pickering is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against East Beauregard on Tuesday, falling 19-9.

Bryan DeDios made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those runs were his first of the season.

Meanwhile, DeQuincy lost 14-5 to Rosepine on Tuesday.

DeQuincy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Gatlin Jr., who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Pickering's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for DeQuincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.
